Fall Baseball is winding down and it's time to start thinking about Bulldog Travel Baseball. We would like to begin interviewing all coaching candidates for our 7 thru 12 year old Travel teams. We have also set up two dates in November to do Warwick Baseball clinics for all prospective travel players. Players do not need to register prior to these clinics at Guinea Lane on 11/1 and 11/8 (both from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM). Our official tryouts will occur the 1st week of December for our 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U and 12U teams.
All teams will be selected in December and will begin their weekly indoor practice at ASBA during the 1st week of January. The season will begin in April and continue with a June playoff schedule. All travel games occur on Friday nights or Sunday afternoons. Travel Practices will be held on Thursday evenings during the season. Warwick Baseball will also be entering a Bulldog Travel team in the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament this summer in late August.
In addition, Warwick Baseball is looking to establish a 13U program this year for a 50/70 Little Little League Division and offer a Suburban 13U Travel team (which will play on a 90ft field) if there is enough interest.
All prospective coaches should contact Cholly Farrell. For any questions on Warwick Baseball Suburban Travel teams and dates, contact Chuck Rivel. To express interest in a 13U 50/70 Little League program and/or a 13U Suburban Travel team, contact Brian Guenard.
Dick's Sporting Goods is offering a special coupon to Warwick Baseball members that offers discounts on baseball gear and is valid the whole year.
